EMDR Therapy

I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps the mind and body process trauma and distressing life experiences — often reaching what talk therapy alone can't. EMDR is central to how I work with trauma, and I draw on it throughout our sessions together whenever it's a good fit for you.

My Approach

EMDR-informed. Trauma-informed. Tailored to you.

I work from a person-centered and trauma-informed lens, integrating evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches tailored to your needs. Healing happens within safe relationships — my role is to meet you exactly where you are, and build from there.

Together, we'll build insight, strengthen coping skills, and work toward deeper self-understanding and resilience, at a pace that feels right for you.

About Me

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”— Carl Rogers

From creative industries to the therapy room

Before entering the mental health field, I spent nearly two decades working in high-pressure creative industries. That experience shapes how I understand career stress, burnout, perfectionism, and major life transitions — not just academically, but from having lived it.

I have a special interest in working with individuals navigating identity exploration, addiction and recovery, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, and personal growth. Social justice and LGBTQ+ affirming care are central to my practice — I'm committed to supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community and clients seeking culturally responsive, justice-oriented care.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. Whatever brought you here, I'm glad you did — and I look forward to walking alongside you.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
